What is Schizophrenia??
Schizophrenia is a mental disorder characterized by abnormalities in the perception or expression of reality. It most commonly manifests as auditory hallucinations, paranoid or bizarre delusions, or disorganized speech and thinking with significant social or occupational dysfunction.

What cause Schizophrenia??
Studies suggest that genetics, early environment, neurobiology, psychological and social processes are important contributory factors; some recreational and prescription drugs appear to cause or worsen symptoms.

What are the signs and symptoms??!
#Depending on the individual, a person diagnosed with schizophrenia may experience hallucinations (most commonly hearing voices),

#Delusions (often bizarre or persecutory in nature), and disorganized thinking and speech.

#The latter may range from loss of train of thought, to sentences only loosely connected in meaning, to incoherence known as word salad in severe cases. There is often an observable pattern of emotional difficulty, for example lack of responsiveness or motivation.

#Impairment in social cognition is associated with schizophrenia, as are symptoms of paranoia, and social isolation commonly occurs. In one uncommon subtype, the person may be largely mute, remain motionless in bizarre postures, or exhibit purposeless agitation; these are signs of catatonia.

# Disorganized speech, which is a manifestation of formal thought disorder

#Grossly disorganized behavior (e.g. dressing inappropriately, crying frequently) or catatonic behavior

#Negative symptoms: Blunted affect (lack or decline in emotional response), alogia (lack or decline in speech), or avolition (lack or decline in motivation)

#If the delusions are judged to be bizarre, or hallucinations consist of hearing one voice participating in a running commentary of the patient's actions or of hearing two or more voices conversing with each other, only that symptom is required above. The speech disorganization criterion is only met if it is severe enough to substantially impair communication.

#Social/occupational dysfunction: For a significant portion of the time since the onset of the disturbance, one or more major areas of functioning such as work, interpersonal relations, or self-care, are markedly below the level achieved prior to the onset.
Duration: Continuous signs of the disturbance persist for at least six months. This six-month period must include at least one month of symptoms (or less, if symptoms remitted with treatment).

RhESus &PreGnAnCY

Darah manusia terdiri daripada rhesus positive (+ve) dan rhesus negatif (-ve). Masalah akan timbul seandainya ibu menpunyai rhesus negatif, dan pasangan mempunyai rhesus positif. Walaubagaimanapun, masalah ini tidak timbul seandainya si ibu mempunyai rhesus positif.

Jadi seandainya anda seorang wanita yang mempunyai rhesus negatif dan pasangan ber-rhesus positif, akan wujud kemungkinan mempunyai anak ber-rhesus berlawanan iaitu rhesus positif. Rhesus hanya boleh dikenal pasti sehingga kelahiran, tetapi masalah yang mungkin timbul seandainya darah fetus memasuki dan mencemari sistem badan ibu semasa proses kelahiran ataupun mengandung. Seandainya masalah ini tidak diatasi, sistem tubuh ibu akan menghasilkan antibodi yang bertindak menyerang 'bendasing' yang tidak dikenali tubuh, yang akan menyebabkan anemia dan yang paling bahaya, boleh menyebabkan kematian fetus. Ini bermaksud, pada kandungan rhesus positif pada masa yang akan datang, antibodi ibu akan terus menyerang sel darah fetus, kerana telah terbentuknya antibodi.

Situasi 1
XY: Faza, ko org mane?
FZ: aku org kuala pilah.
XY: Ohh...(muke trus berubah). Org nogori rupe-rupenye. Baru nak ngorat...
FZ: Erm? nape ngan orng N9?
XY: Sbb xpenah terpikir pun nk ade awek org n9. Adat negeri tu. kan susah. Pastu pempuan n9 material.
FZ: Erk!! mcm la org n9 nak same kamu. Adoi. sile bercakap sama tangan.

Situasi 2
XX: Awek ko org mane?
bf FZ: Org n9.
XX: Nape x pilih orng negeri *^%$$ gak? nape pilih orng n9?

Situasi 3
XX: fz, bf ko rg mane?
FZ: dia orng *^%$$.
XX: pergh..bukan orang negri *^%$$ xsuke org n9 ke?
FZ: Erm?? tu bukan sebab bola sepak ke?
XX: (terdiam trus..)

Actually da byk kali situasi diatas berlaku. dunno why, and daku terpanggil untuk membicarakan isu ini, bukanlah kerana merase kerugian kerana tidak dingorat, tapi sebagai anak negeri sembilan, rase agak terkilan kerana terdapat persepsi negatif yang sedemikian rupa. Walaupun daku adalah orng negeri yang tak fasih berloghat, n kadang-kadang tak paham ape yang orang-orang tua bicarakan, tapi sy masih terase hati bile situasi tersebut terjadi. Oleh itu, saya akan cuba mengupas isu ini dengan lebih mendalam dan berhemah ye, supaya xtimbul isu laen pulak kelak (perghh..daku sgt berhemah dan formal hari ni).

Ok..pasal isu material and adat negeri sembilan. kepada pihak yang tak tahu, jgn ckp ikut sedap mulut aje k.. Tak tahu, sila lah bertanya. Jangan lah sempit kan pemikiran anda dengan mendengar cakap-cakap orang sahaje.

Memang betul adat perpatih mengangkat martabat wanita. Kelebihan ada pada wanita. Wanita dikatakan boleh mewariskan keturunan dengan membawa nama suku. (Notes that: orang negeri sembilan ade suku2 tertentu.. dan suku anak ditentukan berdasarkan suku ibu). Selain boleh mewariskan keturunan, wanita juga diberi kelebihan dalam pembahagian HARTA PUSAKA. ulangan, HARTA PUSAKA. bukan HARTA SEPENCARIAN suami isteri. Harta pusaka akan dibahagikan mengikut adat manakala harta sepencarian akan dibahagikan mengikut undang-undang sedia ada (seperti negeri-negeri laen jugak).

So, andaikata seorang daripada negri laen berkawen ngan gadis n9, dan kemudian bercerai...prosedurnye same je macam yang ditentukan dalam syariah. yang lelaki haruslah bagi nafkah kat anak2 and isteri. Sbb tade kaitan ngan harta pusaka kat cni. Ikut undang2 Islam la. haa..gtu.

And then, beberapa bulan lepas ade mendengar ceramah pasal adat n9 ni, menurut penceramah tersebut, (can't recall his name), langsung takde dalam adat yang mengatakan kalo bercerai, isteri dapat semua harta sepencarian seperti rumah, kereta....etc. Adoi, kite kan sekarang ade undang2 Islam, kalo benda mcm tu terjadi, sile tuntut hak anda di mahkamah lah.

n then dalam situasi kedua dan ke3, kalau dah jodoh tak kemana. lagipun ade aku kesah korang nak kate ape. tolonglah jgan sempitkan pemikiran. Aiyyo!

Situasi 4
XX: uik, ko keje ape skrg?
FZ: keje biase2 je. jadi lecturer kat cheras.
XX: Pergh..lecturer tu. Xnak r kawan ngan ko.
FZ: uiks..nape pule?
XX: sbb ko lecturer la..
FZ: Nape? hina sgt ke keje aku smpai ko xmo kawan? aku bukan keje pelacur pun.

Yang situasi yang kedua ni, aku mls nak cakaplah. Org keje halalan toyyiba' pun xnak kawan. Ko jeles sbb tu xnak kawan ngan aku? Ape daa...Xnak kawan sudah.. Your loss.

SoY is NoT GooD For YoU

Many belived that soy milk is a good substitute for cow’s milks especially the lactose intolerant people. They find soy milk to be an excellent substitute for avoiding the lactose present in milk while ingesting the necessary calcium and protein that milk can provide.
However, i've done some research (been googling of course!!).

Here are several reasons why soy products are not good for you:-

# High levels of aluminium absorbed from the soil in which it is grown.

# Phytoestrogens or isoflavones, which can mimic the female sex hormone estrogen. ~Soy is full of large qualities of estrogens (female hormones); surely you don’t want your sons drinking this stuff. It has the ability to decrease the size of the penis, if consumed for a length of time. The testosterone in men is suppressed by the estrogens in soy.

# Cause infertility.

# A clot promoting substance called hem agglutinin, which causes red blood cells to stick together, and can inhibit oxygen uptake and growth in the body.

# May increase breast cancer in women. ~scary!! (Phyto-oestrogens in soy perform the actions of both oestrogen agonists and antagonists. They have the abilities to stimulate cells in the body sensitive to oestrogen or block the effect of oestrogen. However it hasn’t been proved that the consumption of soy and phyto-oestrogens is safe for women who already suffer from breast cancer, particularly those that have oestrogen-sensitive tumours.)

# Feeding an infant soy formula is the equivalent of giving it 5 birth control pills a day.
(It has been found that infants that consumed soy-based formulas have high levels of circulating phyto-oestrogens (13 000 to 22 000 times higher than would normally be the case). Such overexposure to phyto-oestrogens can create hormone imbalances and competition with enzymes that metabolise steroids, drugs and other biological compounds. It may also lead to problems with the future reproductive function of the person.)

# Can alter a woman’s menstrual cycle.

# Can cause low sperm count in men.

# Wreak havoc on digestion, causing wind, bloating and abdominal pain. ~angin. terkentut2 nanti.

# Block the uptake of minerals and leach calcium from the bones.

# Most soy crops are grown using GMO (genetically modified organism). Long term effects of GMO are not known.

# Infants’ soy formula has been linked to autoimmune thyroid disease.

# Linked to thyroid cancer. (Today a working group of the Independent Scientific Committee on Toxicity in the UK tries to find out if the phyto-oestrogens in soy foods can have a bad influence on hypothyroidism.)

# Tests on Japanese men who have consumed soy over a number of years, has led to brain shrinkage.

# Abnormalities in children.

# Pregnant women should not consume soy. ~tapi slalu tengok2 member2 yg pregnant minum soya. Nak bg anak cantek katenye. tataw la..

# Pancreatic disorders, responsible for many of the severe food allergies.

# It also has the highest percentage of contamination by pesticides of any other food we eat.

The Truth About Back Pain
It might be a sharp stab. It might be a dull ache. Sooner or later, eight out of 10 of us will have back pain. Back pain is common -- and so are back pain myths. See if you can tell the myths from the facts.

Myth: Always sit up straight to prevent back pain.
Okay, slouching is bad for your back. But sitting up too straight too still for too long can be a strain on the back. If you sit a lot, try this a few times a day: Lean back in your chair with your feet on the floor and a slight curve in your back. Even better: Try standing for part of the day, while on the phone or while reading work materials.

Myth: Lifting heavy objects hurts your back.
It's not necessarily how much you lift, it's how you lift. Of course you shouldn't lift anything that might be too heavy for you. When you lift, squat close to the object with your back straight and head up. Stand, using your legs to lift the load. Do not twist or bend your body while lifting. It can really hurt your back to twist while bending and lifting with your feet on the floor -- as you might do when reaching down from a chair to lift a dropped pencil.

Myth: Stay in bed until back pain goes away.
Yes, resting can help an acute injury or strain that causes back pain. But it's a myth that you should stay in bed. A day or two in bed can make your back pain worse.

Myth: Back pain is always caused by an injury.
Disc degeneration, injuries, diseases, infections, and even inherited conditions can cause back pain.

Fact: Overweight people suffer more back pain.
Staying fit helps prevent back pain. Back pain is most common among people who are out of shape, especially weekend warriors who engage in vigorous activity after sitting around all week. And as you might guess, obesity stresses the back.

Myth: Skinny people don't get back pain.
Anyone can get back pain. In fact, people who are too thin, such as those suffering from anorexia, an eating disorder, may suffer bone loss resulting in fractured or crushed vertebrae.

Myth: Exercise is bad for your back pain.
A big myth. Regular exercise prevents back pain. And for people suffering an acute injury resulting in lower back pain, doctors may recommend an exercise program that begins with gentle exercises and gradually increases in intensity. Once the acute pain subsides, an exercise regimen may help prevent future recurrence of back pain.

Fact: Chiropractic adjustments can help back pain.
The American College of Physicians and American Pain Society guidelines for treatment of lower back pain recommend that patients and doctors consider spinal manipulation -- either by a chiropractor or a massage therapist -- for patients with back pain.

Fact: Acupuncture can help back pain.
According to guidelines from the American College of Physicians and the American Pain Society, patients and their doctors should consider acupuncture among treatments for back pain patients who do not get relief from standard self care. Yoga, progressive relaxation, and cognitive-behavioral therapy are also suggested for consideration.

Myth: A super-firm mattress is best for your back.
A Spanish study of people with longstanding, non-specific back pain showed that those who slept on a medium-firm mattress -- rated 5.6 on a 10-point hard-to-soft scale -- had less back pain and disability than those who slept on a firm mattress (2.3 on the scale) mattress. However, depending on their sleep habits and the cause of their back pain, different people may need different mattresses.
