tHe MulBeRry TrEe by JuDE DevERAuX

Was dusting and rearrangging items in theTV hall, when i found this book that i never know to whom it belong. took it and read it. the first two chapter captured my interest which encouraged me to proceed till the end. Atleast i got something to do. kinda bored at the moment. sigh~

here some sneak peak of the book:

The story started when a multi-billionaire named James Manville died in a plane crash and left his wife of 16 years with nothing except an old farm house in Calburn, Virginia and a note asking her to 'found out about what happened'. Lillian Manville, went to Calburn, trying to put herself back to pieces, recovering from the sudden life changing experience. With a new name (Bailey James), new style and some weight lose, she started a preserving business with some local women and friends in order to support life.

She began to investigate the past of her former husband and the secret of the town. With the help of a local bachelor, Matthew Longrace, Lillian started to understand the childhood story of Jimmie, and discover about the 'murder called suicide'. She also discovered the good and the bad thing about Jimmie who deliberately sabotaging her chances in business and her diet program just to keep her with him, for the fear of losing her.

At the end, Lillian able to save her late husband businesses, solve the mystery and found a new happiness with Matt.
